The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Horaţiu Corduneanu in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nikulás Benediktsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 8th minute, Panait Hațegan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 9 minutes into the match, Club Vertigo's goal looked a bit too open when Mircea Creangă came free, but Nikulás Benediktsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Horaţiu Corduneanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Horaţiu Corduneanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Nikulás Benediktsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Stiinta-Univ. fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when Stiinta-Univ.'s Horaţiu Corduneanu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 26 minutes into the game, Stiinta-Univ.'s Horaţiu Corduneanu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nikulás Benediktsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. 31 minutes into the match, Club Vertigo's goal looked a bit too open when Horaţiu Corduneanu came free, but Nikulás Benediktsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Horaţiu Corduneanu notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Club Vertigo's Nikulás Benediktsson. Nikulás Benediktsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matei Giosu in the 45th minute of the match.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Horaţiu Corduneanu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Club Vertigo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 83rd minute, when Matei Giosu scored to the left of an out of position Nikulás Benediktsson, making the score, 0-9. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Manuel Burdujan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stiinta-Univ.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Manuel Burdujan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nikulás Benediktsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After taking down the ball on Stiinta-Univ.'s corner Mircea Creangă fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Nikulás Benediktsson quite easily take care of the ball. A collision led to Stiinta-Univ. getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Manuel Burdujan hit a great ball. Romeo Galiceanu kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Stiinta-Univ.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
