The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Balavanis were awarded a corner. Horaţiu Vermeşan went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Balavanis's Horaţiu Vermeşan to fire away a dangerous shot which Valentin Hâjdău despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Eric Sântimbrean kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Hope AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 6th minute, when Aron Bebeșel scored to the left of an out of position Valentin Hâjdău, making the score, 1-0. Valentin Hâjdău made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aron Bebeșel in the 12th minute of play. Hope AFC's Valentin Hâjdău played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horaţiu Vermeşan in the 13th minute of play. Marin Gavrilă scored 2-0 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Valentin Hâjdău, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gigel Crăciun during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Hope AFC booed when Balavanis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gigel Crăciun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ciprian Sângeorzan's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Valentin Hâjdău firmly grabbed it by the left post. Mugurel Apostolescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Valentin Hâjdău made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marin Gavrilă got free with Valentin Hâjdău in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Valentin Hâjdău made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marin Gavrilă in the 39th minute of play. Valentin Hâjdău came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Balavanis's Manole Chiper. But to his dismay, Manole Chiper quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Valentin Hâjdău showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marin Gavrilă, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Marin Gavrilă made the kick off in the second half. Marin Gavrilă scored 6-0 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Valentin Hâjdău, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marin Gavrilă in the 55th minute of play forced Hope AFC's goalkeeper Valentin Hâjdău to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute, Horaţiu Vermeşan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Valentin Hâjdău was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. After 61 minutes, Gabriel Tatomir mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Balavanis and the Hope AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hope AFC's Valentin Hâjdău played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gigel Crăciun in the 64th minute of play. 65 minutes into the game, Aron Bebeșel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Valentin Hâjdău was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Valentin Hâjdău showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horaţiu Vermeşan, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Valentin Hâjdău came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Balavanis's Marin Gavrilă. But to his dismay, Marin Gavrilă quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. After 72 minutes, Marin Gavrilă made it 10-0 with a short kick to the right side. Hope AFC's Valentin Hâjdău tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 83 minutes into the match, Hope AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Marin Gavrilă came free, but Valentin Hâjdău reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute, Costică Ghișerel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Valentin Hâjdău was frozen by the shot and now it was 13-0. Valentin Hâjdău showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciprian Sângeorzan in the 88th minute of the match. Aron Bebeșel took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valentin Hâjdău. Valentin Hâjdău dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 14-0. Hope AFC's Valentin Hâjdău played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciprian Sângeorzan in the 94th minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Aron Bebeșel notched a goal, 15-0, to the right of Hope AFC's Valentin Hâjdău. Valentin Hâjdău was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Balavanis fully deserved thier win.
