Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ivan Şumălan took the kick off in the first half of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 4th minute of the game. One of Juventus PTM:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of -BZF- Fc Gheraseni:s goal. The supporters of Juventus PTM booed when -BZF- Fc Gheraseni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Corneliu Burdea didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ivan Şumălan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Horea Raicu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cornel Bourceanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 19th minute, Horaţiu Tinu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Virgil Lixandru made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alin Moldoveanu in the 21st minute. In the 25th match minute, -BZF- Fc Gheraseni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabian Verzea to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute, Horaţiu Tinu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the -BZF- Fc Gheraseni defense, Ivan Şumălan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Horea Raicu. The -BZF- Fc Gheraseni fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Horea Raicu should have stopped the shot. After having played for 46 minutes, Cornel Bourceanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Juventus PTM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cornel Bourceanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fabian Verzea to make the kick off. -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's Fabian Verzea got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alin Moldoveanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gelu Săvescu took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Virgil Lixandru. Virgil Lixandru dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Virgil Lixandru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alin Moldoveanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Panait Dănescu hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Alin Moldoveanu took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Virgil Lixandru. Virgil Lixandru dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. The supporters of -BZF- Fc Gheraseni booed when Juventus PTM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Şumălan didn't get a good kick on the ball. -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's Horea Raicu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save -BZF- Fc Gheraseni from getting a goal against them. After 97 played minutes Juventus PTM got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Şumălan. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
