Alex Vieru's late challenge caught a Stiinta-Univ.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alex Vieru helped the player get up and apologised. Alex Vieru hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Horaţiu Corduneanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 7th minute, Martin Oroveanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 8 minutes, Filip Mirciulescu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 10th minute Stiinta-Univ. were awarded a corner. Mircea Creangă went to the cornerflag to take it. BVB 09's Filip Mirciulescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horaţiu Corduneanu in the 11th minute of play. In the 18th minute of the match, Horaţiu Corduneanu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Filip Mirciulescu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 20th minute Horaţiu Corduneanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filip Mirciulescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mircea Creangă kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Iacob Martinescu kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Horaţiu Corduneanu struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Filip Mirciulescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stiinta-Univ.. Filip Mirciulescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horaţiu Corduneanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Filip Mirciulescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Irinel Itoafă in the 43rd minute of the match. BVB 09's Filip Mirciulescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horaţiu Corduneanu in the 48th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 53rd minute, Manuel Aluncai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. BVB 09's Filip Mirciulescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horaţiu Corduneanu in the 56th minute of play. Horaţiu Corduneanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Martin Oroveanu hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. 74 minutes into the game, Stiinta-Univ.'s Manuel Burdujan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Filip Mirciulescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Horaţiu Corduneanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filip Mirciulescu having to interfere. Silviu Lung showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucrețiu Agulescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After 81 played minutes Stiinta-Univ. got a freekick which was hit by Irinel Itoafă. When BVB 09's Gigi Filip in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Stiinta-Univ.'s goalie prevented a goal. Silviu Lung made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lucrețiu Agulescu in the 94th minute. In the 95th minute, Horaţiu Corduneanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stiinta-Univ. were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of BVB 09 for a fine match.
