Spectators: 162 (Terracing: 122, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Horaţiu Corduneanu took the kick off in the first half of the match. Balavanis's Gigel Crăciun suffered a fractured collar bone after 7 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Horaţiu Corduneanu during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Balavanis made a substitution. Emilian Octavian replaced Gigel Crăciun. In the 8th minute, Horaţiu Corduneanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th play minute Manuel Burdujan came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Emanuel Goiciu. 1-0. Aurelian Tilincă kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Emanuel Goiciu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horaţiu Corduneanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After 20 played minutes Balavanis got a freekick which was hit by Aurelian Tilincă. Silviu Lung showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marin Gavrilă in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Marin Gavrilă left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Balavanis fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 37 minutes into the match, Stiinta-Univ.'s goal looked a bit too open when Marin Gavrilă came free, but Silviu Lung reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Balavanis's zone, Horaţiu Corduneanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Goiciu came out of the goal and Horaţiu Corduneanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Silviu Lung showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marin Gavrilă in the 46th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Silviu Lung took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horaţiu Vermeşan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silviu Lung showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marin Gavrilă in the 65th minute of the match. Valeriu Floroiu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emanuel Goiciu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Burdujan in the 81st minute of play. Marin Gavrilă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Silviu Lung tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stiinta-Univ.'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
