Adam Teodor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iacob Anghelescu in the 3rd minute of the match. Adam Teodor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iacob Anghelescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 9 minutes into the game, when Horaţiu Uncuţă put in a rough tackle. After a rather tough play, Secueni's Horaţiu Uncuţă got a free kick in the 10th minute. Olimpiu Elian could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Adrian Vătăşel made a huge save. With a little luck, Secueni's Adrian Vătăşel got control of the ball when Mugur Albuț tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nistor Anastasiu charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nistor Anastasiu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Virgil Mardare took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adam Teodor. Adam Teodor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Constantin Mironescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mugur Albuț in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adrian Vătăşel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Adam Teodor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Constantin Mironescu in the 58th minute of play. Adrian Vătăşel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olimpiu Elian, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugen Novăceanu in the 65th minute of play forced Secueni's goalkeeper Adrian Vătăşel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Otomani's Eugen Novăceanu managed to work through Secueni's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal.
