Cermeiu AC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vama Veche ™ the free kick. After a rather tough play, Cermeiu AC's Marian Muja got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 11th minute, Gică Zoreanu made a precise shot to the right of Iulian Costandin. Cermeiu AC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Gică Zoreanu hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 18th match minute, Cermeiu AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niculae Bogătan to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Cermeiu AC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Ionel Vătafu hit a great ball. After 26 minutes of play, Vama Veche ™'s Gică Zoreanu made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Iulian Costandin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cazimir Lițu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 32ndth minute, Ivan Strugure skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Vama Veche ™'s Ivan Strugure played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cazimir Lițu in the 35th minute of play. The supporters of Vama Veche ™ booed when Cermeiu AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ilie Oardă didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute, Iurie Negrescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 41 minutes into the match, Cermeiu AC's goal looked a bit too open when Gică Zoreanu came free, but Iulian Costandin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iulian Costandin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iurie Negrescu in the 42nd minute of the match. After 45 minutes of play, Vama Veche ™'s Gică Zoreanu made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Iulian Costandin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cazimir Lițu to make the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Cermeiu AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonard Macovei to maneuver through the defense. Iulian Costandin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iurie Negrescu in the 54th minute of the match. Cermeiu AC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 59th minute, when Iurie Negrescu scored to the left of an out of position Iulian Costandin, making the score, 0-5. In the 64th minute, Dinu Cotuțiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Vama Veche ™ booed when Cermeiu AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cazimir Lițu didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Cermeiu AC's Iulian Costandin got control of the ball when Gică Zoreanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Gică Zoreanu came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Vama Veche ™ fans jumped to their feet. When Toader Vancea fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cermeiu AC's protests and gave Toader Vancea a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Cermeiu AC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Toader Vancea hit a great ball. 82 minutes into the game, Vama Veche ™'s Gică Zoreanu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iulian Costandin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. After a defensive mix-up in Cermeiu AC's zone, Gică Zoreanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iulian Costandin came out of the goal and Gică Zoreanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 88 minutes, Iurie Negrescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vama Veche ™'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Iurie Negrescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Iurie Negrescu fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vama Veche ™'s protests and gave Iurie Negrescu a yellow card for diving instead. When the final whistle sounded Vama Veche ™ left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cermeiu AC.
