The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Albert Comișel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dan Deleanu in the 3rd minute of the match. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 24 minutes of play Peretu City 09's Novak Djokovic was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Peretu City 09 getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Novak Djokovic hit a great ball. If Petru Cristocea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th minute, Vito Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adam Macri charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adam Macri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nicodim Urdăreanu to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Anton Cândea managed to get in a good position for a shot.
