Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ana Ţugui kicked off to start the match. Augustin Nechifor took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cosmin Galiceanu. Cosmin Galiceanu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Cosmin Galiceanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Costin Iorgu in the 10th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Augustin Nechifor in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cosmin Galiceanu saved -BZF- Valea Buzăului from getting behind. Cristi Jupâneanu kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind -BZF- Valea Buzăului's goalkeeper Cosmin Galiceanu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Nichifor Vergulescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Steaua Pildesti's supporters rose to their feet, but Nichifor Vergulescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cosmin Galiceanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cosmin Galiceanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Augustin Nechifor's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Köksal Şimşektürk during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 20 played minutes, FC Steaua Pildesti's Valer Uncheşelu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cosmin Galiceanu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Steaua Pildesti reached it. In the 38th minute Adam Buș shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cosmin Galiceanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valer Uncheşelu was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 39th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 43rd minute Gheorghe Vlăsiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cosmin Galiceanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th minute, Ana Ţugui reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Octavian Bogdănescu. The goal made the score 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Augustin Nechifor made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Costin Iorgu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cosmin Galiceanu. The goal made the score 1-3. Traian Roşu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Cosmin Galiceanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When FC Steaua Pildesti's Costin Iorgu in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Cosmin Galiceanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Costin Iorgu's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Costin Iorgu sped through -BZF- Valea Buzăului's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cosmin Galiceanu. The supporters of FC Steaua Pildesti booed when -BZF- Valea Buzăului was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodor Finteșteanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Valer Uncheşelu came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the FC Steaua Pildesti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valer Uncheşelu couldn't finish the play. 70 minutes into the game, Costin Iorgu lined in a short shot 2-5 behind a frustrated Cosmin Galiceanu. When Traian Roşu came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the FC Steaua Pildesti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Traian Roşu couldn't finish the play. In the 78th minute Costin Iorgu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cosmin Galiceanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Costin Iorgu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Cosmin Galiceanu made a huge save. Octavian Bogdănescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ana Ţugui, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 90 minutes into the match, -BZF- Valea Buzăului's goalkeeper Cosmin Galiceanu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Costin Iorgu. FC Steaua Pildesti's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
