FC Fanaticii's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Augustin Nechifor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After having played for 20 minutes, Traian Roşu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Traian Roşu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 26th play minutes Costin Iorgu shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Emanuel Giurcă and just under the crossbar into goal. FC Fanaticii's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Traian Roşu 33 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 4-0. In the 36thth minute of the game Augustin Nechifor who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Fanaticii's Emanuel Giurcă was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Șerban Nanu's late challenge caught a FC Steaua Pildesti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Șerban Nanu helped the player get up and apologised. 39 minutes into the match, FC Fanaticii's goal looked a bit too open when Augustin Nechifor came free, but Emanuel Giurcă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valer Uncheşelu might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emanuel Giurcă. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valer Uncheşelu ran back to his position shaking his head. Emanuel Giurcă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Traian Roşu in the 47th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Șerban Nanu was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Traian Roşu in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emanuel Giurcă prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Costin Iorgu in the 93rd minute of play forced FC Fanaticii's goalkeeper Emanuel Giurcă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute, Traian Roşu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Steaua Pildesti fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC Steaua Pildesti had played much better football throughout.
