Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Nistor Fenici got the match started through his kick off. Albert Hodorog's late challenge caught a Gyepüpataka's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albert Hodorog helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to UFC STEAUA getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Albert Hodorog hit a great ball. After 9th play minutes Nicodim Cazan shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Costică Petran and just under the crossbar into goal. When Gyula Kali came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Gyepüpataka fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gyula Kali couldn't finish the play. Costică Petran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicodim Cazan in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute of the match Gyepüpataka got a corner. UFC STEAUA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cezar Vasilache ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 21st minute, Dragoş Bojonca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Nistor Fenici's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ferenc Szabó was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Szilárd Erdélyi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 33 minutes into the game, Nicodim Cazan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Costică Petran. Nicodim Cazan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. In the 36th minute, Nicodim Cazan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gyepüpataka fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. When Gyula Kali came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Gyepüpataka fans jumped to their feet. In the 46th minute, Szilárd Erdélyi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The wind increased when Nicodim Cazan made the kick off in the second half. Ferenc Szabó stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nistor Fenici's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Ferenc Szabó took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toader Ipate, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Szilárd Erdélyi kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 58th minute Nistor Fenici shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferenc Szabó saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicodim Cazan in the 59th minute of play forced UFC STEAUA's goalkeeper Costică Petran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 64 minutes into the game, Mihail Iorgu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Costică Petran was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 68th minute, Albert Hodorog hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihail Iorgu in the 69th minute of play forced UFC STEAUA's goalkeeper Costică Petran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71stth minute of the game Nistor Fenici who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gyepüpataka's Ferenc Szabó was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of UFC STEAUA booed when Gyepüpataka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iacob Mahonea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eliodor Bărăian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 78th minute, Nistor Fenici hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Costică Panait fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Costică Petran having to interfere. Gyepüpataka's Ferenc Szabó proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Gyepüpataka from getting a goal against them. In the 91st minute, Nicodim Cazan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gyepüpataka fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the UFC STEAUA players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Gyepüpataka.
