Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Vintilă Hălmăgeanu made the kick off and thus started the match. If Dumitru Covrig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Vintilă Hălmăgeanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cormoranii -MM-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Vintilă Hălmăgeanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gigel Rânceanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Andrei Vârjean recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Liviu Mușătescu came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Fotbal Club Vaslui fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Liviu Mușătescu couldn't finish the play. Gigel Rânceanu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vintilă Hălmăgeanu went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 24th minute, Vintilă Hălmăgeanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Fotbal Club Vaslui defense, Vintilă Hălmăgeanu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gigel Rânceanu. The Fotbal Club Vaslui fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gigel Rânceanu should have stopped the shot. Gigel Rânceanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vintilă Hălmăgeanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. A collision led to Cormoranii -MM- getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Dumitru Covrig hit a great ball. Fotbal Club Vaslui's Gigel Rânceanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vintilă Hălmăgeanu in the 44th minute of play. The Fotbal Club Vaslui players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cormoranii -MM- were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andrei Vârjean made a kick off. Andrei Vârjean hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. If Vintilă Hălmăgeanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 65 minutes into the match, Vintilă Hălmăgeanu notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Fotbal Club Vaslui's Gigel Rânceanu. Gigel Rânceanu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Felix Nisporeanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alin Geamănu during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alin Geamănu hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 82nd minute, Liviu Mușătescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Fotbal Club Vaslui fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Cormoranii -MM- were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
