Marcel Noica was left in no man's land by his defense there! 9 minutes into the match, Emanuel Strugure notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Fc S.Zaharesti's Marcel Noica. Marcel Noica was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Marius Encioiu fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fc S.Zaharesti's protests and gave Marius Encioiu a yellow card for diving instead. Marius Encioiu kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the game, FC Politehnica Timisoara's Teodor Lucaci nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcel Noica made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After a rather tough play, FC Politehnica Timisoara's Costică Josan got a free kick in the 16th minute. Tiberiu Mischie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mădălin Vintilescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 23rd minute Teodor Lucaci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcel Noica saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Viorel Lelescu came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Fc S.Zaharesti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Viorel Lelescu couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Costică Josan managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Politehnica Timisoara's supporters rose to their feet, but Costică Josan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcel Noica breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Teodor Lucaci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 37th minute, Teodor Lucaci left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Politehnica Timisoara fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Marcel Noica took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodor Lucaci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Fc S.Zaharesti's zone, Costică Josan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcel Noica came out of the goal and Costică Josan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcel Noica made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodor Lucaci in the 45th minute of play. After the first half FC Politehnica Timisoara were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teodor Lucaci was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Fc S.Zaharesti defense, Emanuel Strugure kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcel Noica. The Fc S.Zaharesti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcel Noica should have stopped the shot. 56 minutes into the game, FC Politehnica Timisoara's Emanuel Strugure nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcel Noica made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. Emanuel Strugure fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel Noica having to interfere. Marcel Noica made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Emanuel Strugure sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marius Encioiu in the 64th minute of play forced FC Politehnica Timisoara's goalkeeper Tiberiu Mischie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcel Noica was out of position in the 71 minute of play, and Teodor Lucaci capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Teodor Lucaci really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. Emanuel Strugure received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Marcel Noica tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Teodor Lucaci's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcel Noica was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Fc S.Zaharesti's Marcel Noica played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodor Lucaci in the 79th minute of play. After 80 played minutes FC Politehnica Timisoara got a freekick which was hit by Teodor Lucaci. Tiberiu Mischie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marius Encioiu in the 82nd minute of play. In the 84th minute, Mădălin Băcila ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcel Noica was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. Teodor Lucaci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel Noica having to interfere. Marius Encioiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiberiu Mischie having to interfere. Marcel Noica showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodor Lucaci in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Teodor Lucaci left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Politehnica Timisoara fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-10. Marcel Noica was a little too slow when Mădălin Băcila got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 96th minute. The score was now 0-11. When the final whistle sounded FC Politehnica Timisoara left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Fc S.Zaharesti.
