Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Costică Josan took the kick off in the first half of the match. FC Politehnica Timisoara's Tiberiu Mischie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Szilárd Erdélyi in the 3rd minute of play. 5 minutes into the match, Gyepüpataka's goalkeeper Ferenc Szabó had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Costică Josan. If Mihail Iorgu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 12 played minutes Gyepüpataka got a freekick which was hit by Nicodim Cazan. Gyepüpataka's Ferenc Szabó played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Costică Josan in the 14th minute of play. Tiberiu Mischie stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ovidiu Minteuan's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Costică Josan in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ferenc Szabó saved Gyepüpataka from getting behind. 33 minutes into the match, FC Politehnica Timisoara's goal looked a bit too open when Mihail Iorgu came free, but Tiberiu Mischie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gyepüpataka's supporters rose to their feet, but Mihail Iorgu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tiberiu Mischie breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mihail Iorgu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiberiu Mischie having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mihail Iorgu got free with Tiberiu Mischie in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mihail Iorgu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tiberiu Mischie firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 67th minute, Ovidiu Minteuan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gyula Kali who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 69thth minute tested the skills of Tiberiu Mischie when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The corner ended in Cezar Vasilache almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Politehnica Timisoara's Tiberiu Mischie did a great save. Ferenc Szabó showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Costică Josan in the 73rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Costică Josan in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ferenc Szabó saved Gyepüpataka from getting behind. FC Politehnica Timisoara's Emanuel Strugure was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ferenc Szabó in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. FC Politehnica Timisoara's Tiberiu Mischie proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save FC Politehnica Timisoara from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, FC Politehnica Timisoara's Tiberiu Mischie got control of the ball when Mihail Iorgu tried to sneak it across the goal line.
