Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Radu Pacurar started the match with the kick off. Sergiu Angheluță took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernest Capșuneanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Cătălin Liciu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sergiu Angheluță made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernest Capșuneanu in the 12th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cazimir Zăraşcu in the 14th minute of play forced GoldDiam V55's goalkeeper Cosmin Măcrinici to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 17 played minutes Champions Iasi got a freekick which was hit by Costică Perșa. The crowd rose to their feet as Edgar Tarcu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cosmin Măcrinici. That made the score 1-0 in the 19 minute of play. GoldDiam V55's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Costică Perșa scored to the left of an out of position Cosmin Măcrinici, making the score, 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when George Vâlcu got free with Cosmin Măcrinici in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sergiu Angheluță made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cătălin Liciu in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th minute Cătălin Liciu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergiu Angheluță saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sergiu Angheluță took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emil Iosif, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sergiu Angheluță showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radu Pacurar, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Sergiu Angheluță showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emil Iosif in the 38th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, George Vâlcu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cosmin Măcrinici, 3-1. In the 45th minute Ernest Capșuneanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergiu Angheluță saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Iosif in the 47th minute of play forced Champions Iasi's goalkeeper Sergiu Angheluță to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cazimir Zăraşcu to strike the kick off in the second half. Cosmin Măcrinici showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Tarcu, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 51st minute, Eduard Ghișe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Nechifor Drăghici came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the GoldDiam V55 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nechifor Drăghici couldn't finish the play. 54 minutes into the game, Eugen Ozon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Champions Iasi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GoldDiam V55 the free kick. Radu Pacurar succeeded in the game's 56th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-2. In the 59th minute Radu Pacurar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergiu Angheluță saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute, Cătălin Liciu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th minute, Radu Pacurar fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 74th minute, Radu Pacurar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 80 minutes into the match, Champions Iasi's goal looked a bit too open when Emil Iosif came free, but Sergiu Angheluță reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cazimir Zăraşcu kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Champions Iasi's Cazimir Zăraşcu got a free kick in the 85th minute. If Nechifor Drăghici had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cătălin Liciu took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sergiu Angheluță. Sergiu Angheluță dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-4. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Champions Iasi fans cheered their team off the field, for while GoldDiam V55 had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
