Aron Bratoloveanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Albert Dănănae could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Sergiu Angheluță made a huge save. Marcu Tărbac showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Tarcu, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC TraLaLa's goalkeeper Marcu Tărbac, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, FC TraLaLa's Mircea Şchiopu got a free kick in the 12th minute. Marcu Tărbac came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Champions Iasi's Cazimir Zăraşcu. But to his dismay, Cazimir Zăraşcu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Marcu Tărbac showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from George Vâlcu in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 23rd minute Edgar Tarcu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcu Tărbac saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to FC TraLaLa getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Vasile Leucuța hit a great ball. After 25 played minutes Champions Iasi got a freekick which was hit by George Vâlcu. In the 32nd minute Edgar Tarcu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcu Tărbac saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Vasile Leucuța fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC TraLaLa's protests and gave Vasile Leucuța a yellow card for diving instead. In the 39th minute, Edgar Tarcu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Champions Iasi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 42 minutes into the match, FC TraLaLa's goal looked a bit too open when George Vâlcu came free, but Marcu Tărbac reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sergiu Angheluță showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nichifor Crașovan in the 45th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cazimir Zăraşcu made a kick off. Costică Perșa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Marcu Tărbac when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Niculae Măgureanu charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Niculae Măgureanu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The crowd rose to their feet as Edgar Tarcu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marcu Tărbac. That made the score 0-3 in the 59 minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Champions Iasi's Edgar Tarcu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marcu Tărbac. Marcu Tărbac yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. The audience was convinced that Albert Dănănae's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sergiu Angheluță was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. After 71 minutes, Albert Dănănae mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC TraLaLa and the Champions Iasi players grew even worse after the yellow card. Adam Dinulescu struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Sergiu Angheluță didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC TraLaLa. 79 minutes into the match, FC TraLaLa's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Tarcu came free, but Marcu Tărbac reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcu Tărbac showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Tarcu in the 81st minute of the match.
