Vlad Belu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ryszard Borcz in the 2nd minute of play. When Ryszard Borcz, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 3 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Vlad Belu was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Brink's Petrică Ţeica slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Horea Hurmuzache. That made the score 1-0 after 5 minutes of play. 8 minutes into the match, DINAMO's goal looked a bit too open when Iulian Jurăscu came free, but Horea Hurmuzache reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. DINAMO's Horea Hurmuzache proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save DINAMO from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Ryszard Borcz put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Vlad Belu. In the 25th minute, FC Brink's Iordache Isăilă seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Iordache Isăilă the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FC Brink protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Iordache Isăilă had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Brink fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 24th minute. Penalty! Vlad Belu had in the 27thth minute some difficulties stopping Leonard Demian's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Vlad Belu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ryszard Borcz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute Ryszard Borcz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vlad Belu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Petrică Ţeica charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Petrică Ţeica the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, FC Brink's Petrică Ţeica got a free kick in the 35th minute. After 36 played minutes FC Brink got a freekick which was hit by Flavius Orescu. 45 minutes into the match, FC Brink's goal looked a bit too open when George Martin came free, but Vlad Belu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Călin Macrea hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After having played for 46 minutes, Călin Feroiu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DINAMO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Călin Feroiu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half DINAMO were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iulian Jurăscu made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavius Orescu in the 54th minute of play forced DINAMO's goalkeeper Horea Hurmuzache to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th match minute, FC Brink was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavius Orescu to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in FC Brink's zone, Ryszard Borcz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vlad Belu came out of the goal and Ryszard Borcz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Petrică Ţeica fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horea Hurmuzache having to interfere. If Iulian Jurăscu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Horea Hurmuzache showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petrică Ţeica in the 67th minute of the match. In the 70th minute, Călin Macrea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd minute, Călin Macrea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Brink fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. DINAMO's Horea Hurmuzache played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iulian Jurăscu in the 79th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Ryszard Borcz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vlad Belu. That made the score 2-3 in the 82 minute of play. FC Brink's Vlad Belu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save FC Brink from getting a goal against them. In the 87th minute, Ryszard Borcz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Vlad Belu. The goal made the score 2-4. The supporters of FC Brink booed when DINAMO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrei Arseni didn't get a good kick on the ball. The DINAMO supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing DINAMO would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
