Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Petruț Crivac recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 13 minutes, Ernest Porumboiu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC TraLaLa and the PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 13th match minute, FC TraLaLa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernest Porumboiu to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute, Mircea Şchiopu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18th minute, George Gurlui ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcu Tărbac was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Marcu Tărbac made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Calistrat Şerbănescu in the 21st minute of play. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Calistrat Şerbănescu sped through FC TraLaLa's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marcu Tărbac. 29 minutes into the match, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's goal looked a bit too open when Nichifor Crașovan came free, but Vlad Covrig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcu Tărbac came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Calistrat Şerbănescu. But to his dismay, Calistrat Şerbănescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Marcu Tărbac took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Calistrat Şerbănescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Calistrat Şerbănescu to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, FC TraLaLa's goal looked a bit too open when Calistrat Şerbănescu came free, but Marcu Tărbac reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Calistrat Şerbănescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Marcu Tărbac made a huge save. If Calistrat Şerbănescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute, Ernest Porumboiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Eric Astafei hit a great ball. Adam Dinulescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eric Astafei got free with Marcu Tărbac in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca booed when FC TraLaLa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mircea Şchiopu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcu Tărbac made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Calistrat Şerbănescu in the 87th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Calistrat Şerbănescu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marcu Tărbac. That made the score 0-6 after 96 minutes of play.
