The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucrețiu Novăceanu in the 5th minute of play forced ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s goalkeeper Marcel Chiriță to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 minutes into the match, ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Luca Boaru came free, but Marcel Chiriță reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute, Gabriel Chiriloaie made a precise shot to the right of Vintilă Ecobescu. ★RO★ NEW VISION ®'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Vintilă Ecobescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristinel Andronescu in the 17th minute of the match. After 18 played minutes ★RO★ NEW VISION ® got a freekick which was hit by Leontin Grecea. Cristinel Andronescu kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. The supporters of ASF BAIA MARE -MM- booed when ★RO★ NEW VISION ® was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudiu Aristide didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Gabriel Chiriloaie got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 25th minute, Luca Boaru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marcel Chiriță made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucrețiu Novăceanu in the 29th minute of play. Marcel Chiriță showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Boaru in the 31st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, ★RO★ NEW VISION ®'s Lucian Dănilă got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Steve Deckkers received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vintilă Ecobescu came out and tried to block the shot, but Steve Deckkers slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 46th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

52 minutes into the game, Petre Reznic was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ★RO★ NEW VISION ®'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ASF BAIA MARE -MM- the free kick. After 52 played minutes ★RO★ NEW VISION ® got a freekick which was hit by Petre Reznic. When Lv Si Hao came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the ASF BAIA MARE -MM- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lv Si Hao couldn't finish the play. Steve Deckkers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vintilă Ecobescu having to interfere. In the 65th minute Luca Boaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcel Chiriță saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luca Boaru received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marcel Chiriță came out and tried to block the shot, but Luca Boaru slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 68th minute. Vintilă Ecobescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristinel Andronescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 76 minutes into the match, Steve Deckkers notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of ★RO★ NEW VISION ®'s Vintilă Ecobescu. Vintilă Ecobescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 80 minutes into the match, ★RO★ NEW VISION ®'s goal looked a bit too open when Lv Si Hao came free, but Vintilă Ecobescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vintilă Ecobescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Chiriloaie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd minute Lv Si Hao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vintilă Ecobescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 97th minute, Steve Deckkers left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ASF BAIA MARE -MM- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1.
