Costică Ciorăscu's late challenge caught a Purcaresti CSS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Costică Ciorăscu helped the player get up and apologised. Costică Ciorăscu hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. If Emanuel Tiberiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute, Delphine Stars's Costică Vărzaru dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Damian Toader was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emanuel Tiberiu to make the kick off. After 52 minutes, Andrei Tirulescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Purcaresti CSS and the Delphine Stars players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 77th minute Costică Vărzaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damian Toader saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 81 minutes, Denis Nenciu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Delphine Stars and the Purcaresti CSS players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Delphine Stars getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Cristian Dorian hit a great ball. Damian Toader made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costică Vărzaru in the 90th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Purcaresti CSS players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Delphine Stars.
