Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Trayko Mendov started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Filip Mavrogheni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 1-0 became the score in the 12th minute when Petrică Dragu elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Manole Ghiondea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Trayko Mendov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manole Ghiondea made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Moise Jienescu sent off a good shot on target. In the 22nd match minute, Galati Harbour Cats was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basarab Zdroană to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute of the match Petrică Dragu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Manole Ghiondea skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Vlashers booed when Galati Harbour Cats was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Andone didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute Trayko Mendov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manole Ghiondea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manole Ghiondea stood somewhat misplaced when Trayko Mendov came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 30 minute. After a rather tough play, Galati Harbour Cats's Sebastian Andone got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 35th minute, Petruț Vlăsiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manole Ghiondea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Trayko Mendov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Vlashers's Moise Jienescu got a free kick in the 39th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 42 minutes, Manole Ghiondea successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Manole Ghiondea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moise Jienescu in the 44th minute of play. Horea Afloroaiei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Andone in the 46th minute of play. In the 48th minute of the match Galati Harbour Cats got a corner. Vlashers's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Filip Mavrogheni ran over to the corner to take the kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After 52 played minutes Galati Harbour Cats got a freekick which was hit by Manole Anghel. Manole Ghiondea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petrică Dragu in the 55th minute of the match. Manole Ghiondea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Trayko Mendov, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Fabian Minculescu kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the game, Petruț Vlăsiu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Galati Harbour Cats's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vlashers the free kick. After 60 played minutes Galati Harbour Cats got a freekick which was hit by Petruț Vlăsiu. After 70 played minutes Vlashers got a freekick which was hit by Trayko Mendov. 73 minutes into the match, Galati Harbour Cats's goal looked a bit too open when Petrică Dragu came free, but Manole Ghiondea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adrian Baldazar hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. 78 minutes into the game, Vlashers's Trayko Mendov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Manole Ghiondea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Galati Harbour Cats's Manole Ghiondea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristinel Agrigoroaiei in the 84th minute of play. Moise Jienescu scored 4-0 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Manole Ghiondea, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee ended the match the Vlashers players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
