When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Liviu Zubaşcu made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Flavius Câmpeanu during the 53rd minute. After 76 played minutes MIT got a freekick which was hit by Flavius Câmpeanu. MIT's Mihai Cismaș was substituted for Sever Dobrescu. In the 77th match minute, MIT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavius Câmpeanu to maneuver through the defense. 86 minutes into the match, Uptown Otters's goal looked a bit too open when Mihai Cismaș came free, but Aimilios Manolas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mihai Cismaș's late challenge caught a Uptown Otters's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mihai Cismaș helped the player get up and apologised.
