Daniel Bădulescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cazimir Iorgovan in the 14th minute of play. Nechifor Oargă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcu Văduva in the 19th minute of play. Daniel Bădulescu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gigi Câmpeanu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 24 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iosif Spiru made a kick off. If Iosif Spiru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nechifor Oargă made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iosif Spiru in the 54th minute. In the 55th minute, Gavril Niculiță hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Bădulescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cazimir Iorgovan in the 58th minute of the match. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's goalkeeper Nechifor Oargă, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eric Drăgan during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
