MasterBets's attentive Panait Baldovin managed to snatch the ball when Flavius Zdrenghea made a throw-in in the 8th minute of the game. After 8 played minutes MasterBets got a freekick which was hit by Cazimir Miclea. Unai Simon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mugurel Curea in the 11th minute of the match. In the 15th minute Manuel Amânaloae shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petruț Muscă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ferdinand Şteţ hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Unai Simon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mugurel Curea in the 24th minute of the match. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Unai Simon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The MasterBets fans' excitement grew in the 47th match minute when MasterBets's Ramiro Florinio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Unai Simon came out of the goal and Ramiro Florinio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. MasterBets made a substitution. Hayyam Kebir replaced Cazimir Miclea. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Hayyam Kebir managed to get in a good position for a shot. MasterBets's supporters rose to their feet, but Hayyam Kebir was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Unai Simon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
