The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dorinel Munteanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petruț Muscă having to interfere. Hayyam Kebir hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. If Mugurel Curea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 12thth minute of the game Mugurel Curea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Scorpions -MM-'s Iurie Cocoș was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aurelian Dănănae hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After having played for 19 minutes, Mugurel Curea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MasterBets's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mugurel Curea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 21 minutes of play, Scorpions -MM-'s Dan Tinu made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Petruț Muscă was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Mugurel Curea came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the MasterBets fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mugurel Curea couldn't finish the play. Mugurel Curea's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 27thth minute, Iurie Cocoș skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Dan Tinu took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Petruț Muscă. Petruț Muscă dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. When Luca Păun fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Scorpions -MM-'s protests and gave Luca Păun a yellow card for diving instead. In the 31st match minute, Scorpions -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Păun to maneuver through the defense. 32 minutes into the match, Hayyam Kebir dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Iurie Cocoș, 1-2. The supporters of Scorpions -MM- booed when MasterBets was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mircea Mardarie didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute Mugurel Curea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iurie Cocoș saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. MasterBets were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Scorpions -MM-'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gică Chifan took the corner. The corner ended in Gică Chifan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Scorpions -MM-'s Iurie Cocoș did a great save. A hard and well directed shot from Gică Chifan led 40 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Scorpions -MM-'s Iurie Cocoș became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 2-2. Iurie Cocoș showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mugurel Curea in the 43rd minute of the match. 47 minutes into the match, MasterBets's goal looked a bit too open when Ferdinand Chirculescu came free, but Petruț Muscă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Scorpions -MM- made a substitution. Vasile Onitiu replaced Alexandru Zăvoiu. Scorpions -MM-'s Cristian Fărcașu was substituted for Eric Cimpoieru. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dan Tinu was the one to do the kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 54 minutes, Petruț Muscă successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 56 played minutes Scorpions -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Fărcașu. Iurie Cocoș showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mugurel Curea, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. MasterBets made a substitution. Ramiro Florinio replaced Mugurel Curea. Iurie Cocoș showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramiro Florinio in the 61st minute of the match. When Ramiro Florinio came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the MasterBets fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramiro Florinio couldn't finish the play. Iurie Cocoș came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by MasterBets's Hayyam Kebir. But to his dismay, Hayyam Kebir quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Ferdinand Chirculescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gică Chifan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute, Ramiro Florinio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gabriel Cezariu kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. MasterBets made a substitution. Cazimir Miclea replaced Hayyam Kebir. Gabriel Cezariu hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. If Ramiro Florinio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 83rd minute Ramiro Florinio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iurie Cocoș saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 87 played minutes Scorpions -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Dorinel Munteanu. After a rather tough play, MasterBets's Cazimir Miclea got a free kick in the 89th minute. After 93rd play minutes Ramiro Florinio shot 4-2, a short shot which went by Iurie Cocoș and just under the crossbar into goal. Iurie Cocoș stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ramiro Florinio's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. Scorpions -MM-'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
