In the 20th minute, Petru Tărău made a precise shot to the right of Avram Golescu. Scorpions -MM-'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. A collision led to A4p FC Gad getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Nechifor Sorin hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Dan Tinu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Scorpions -MM-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Dan Tinu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olimpiu Târlea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Olimpiu Târlea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dan Tinu in the 43rd minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Petru Tărău to strike the kick off in the second half. A4p FC Gad's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Scorpions -MM- the free kick. The A4p FC Gad fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. The Scorpions -MM- manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing A4p FC Gad to win.
