The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Octav Martinaș during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to FC PIETROSUL -MM- getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Octav Martinaș hit a great ball. Virgil Olariu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Chițu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 22 minutes into the match, Felix Chițu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Virgil Olariu. Paralia Athens's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felix Chițu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. 25 minutes into the game, Mike Cai cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Cristinel Tiberian was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octav Martinaș in the 27th minute of play forced Paralia Athens's goalkeeper Virgil Olariu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Cristinel Tiberian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ke Zhou Yuan in the 29th minute of play. 36 minutes into the game, Paralia Athens's Tudor Manolescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cristinel Tiberian made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. After some careless play in the FC PIETROSUL -MM- defense, Mike Cai kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristinel Tiberian. The FC PIETROSUL -MM- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristinel Tiberian should have stopped the shot. David Tâbârnă struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Virgil Olariu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC PIETROSUL -MM-. Disappointed in the 2-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Mike Cai made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, FC PIETROSUL -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horia Tărbac to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Emanuel Tomulescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Emanuel Tomulescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Virgil Olariu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Paralia Athens made a substitution. Gürkan Akaydın replaced Gonzalo Taibo. 59 minutes into the game, David Tâbârnă was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paralia Athens the free kick. In the 59th match minute, FC PIETROSUL -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Tâbârnă to maneuver through the defense. Tudor Manolescu hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. During the 68th minute of the match David Tâbârnă completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave David Tâbârnă a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. David Tâbârnă kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Cristinel Tiberian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gürkan Akaydın in the 70th minute of play. Cristinel Tiberian made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Ke Zhou Yuan sent off a good shot on target. Tudor Manolescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Cristinel Tiberian made a huge save. After having played for 89 minutes, Mike Cai managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paralia Athens's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mike Cai was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 94 minutes into the game, Mike Cai recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cristinel Tiberian. Mike Cai showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-7. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Paralia Athens walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
