Spectators: 175 (Terracing: 132, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) Emil Harhoiu made the kick off and thus started the match. After a rather tough play, UFC Veseud's Cezar Dobrinescu got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Cezar Răţescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Florin Braica in the 4th minute. Iosif Panescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dragoş Cordescu in the 8th minute of the match. UFC Veseud were furious when Daniel Braica was red carded, 9 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 8th minute of the game. One of UFC Veseud:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC BaLiSt:s goal. UFC Veseud:s Cezar Răţescu showed great skill when he stopped Dorel Găman:s penalty. UFC Veseud's Cezar Răţescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Dragușin in the 14th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gavril Cudalb got free with Cezar Răţescu in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 17th minute Stelian Andriescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iosif Panescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Cosmin Dragu fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC BaLiSt's protests and gave Cosmin Dragu a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC BaLiSt getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Cosmin Dragu hit a great ball. In the 20thth minute of the game Ilie Lupșoiu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC BaLiSt's Iosif Panescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind UFC Veseud's goalkeeper Cezar Răţescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ilie Lupșoiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iosif Panescu having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, FC BaLiSt's goal looked a bit too open when Mugur Ciocan came free, but Iosif Panescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iosif Panescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ilie Lupșoiu in the 32nd minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, UFC Veseud's Stelian Andriescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iosif Panescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. UFC Veseud's Ilie Lupșoiu got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 42nd minute, Dorel Găman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stelian Andriescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Viveque Malheiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ilie Lupșoiu kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Stelian Andriescu might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Iosif Panescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stelian Andriescu ran back to his position shaking his head. FC BaLiSt made a substitution. Mihăiţă Corbeanu replaced Răzvan Frumuzache. Iosif Panescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ilie Lupșoiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. 62 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC BaLiSt's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Viveque Malheiro was slow to take the kick. During this time UFC Veseud's players had a chance to rest. The corner led UFC Veseud's Viveque Malheiro to fire away a dangerous shot which Iosif Panescu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After having played for 64 minutes, Ilie Lupșoiu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UFC Veseud's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ilie Lupșoiu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cezar Răţescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Dragușin in the 66th minute of play. Ilie Lupșoiu struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Iosif Panescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UFC Veseud. FC BaLiSt's Traian Muscaș was substituted for Florin Braica. Stelian Andriescu kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Ilie Lupșoiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Iosif Panescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in FC BaLiSt's zone, Mugur Ciocan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iosif Panescu came out of the goal and Mugur Ciocan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 88 minutes into the match, UFC Veseud's goal looked a bit too open when Gavril Cudalb came free, but Cezar Răţescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruno Di Federico hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
