Spectators: 175 (Terracing: 132, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Pompiliu Balaban started the match with the kick off. Gaizko Abaurre kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. In the 9th minute Benedicto Abello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciprian Ghioane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felix Mitrea's late challenge caught a FC Buzău's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felix Mitrea helped the player get up and apologised. Felix Mitrea hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Buzău's Ionel Lung slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mihnea Suşu. That made the score 1-0 after 16 minutes of play. After 22 played minutes FC Buzău got a freekick which was hit by Mădălin Pascariu. After some careless play in the FC Buzău defense, Rodolfo Pinheiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ciprian Ghioane. The FC Buzău fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ciprian Ghioane should have stopped the shot. Ciprian Ghioane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Pinheiro in the 28th minute of play. Pompiliu Balaban scored 2-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mihnea Suşu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mihnea Suşu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pompiliu Balaban in the 35th minute of the match. In the 35th minute of the match, Pompiliu Balaban tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mihnea Suşu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Remus Munteanu got free with Mihnea Suşu in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Remus Munteanu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Mihnea Suşu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. FC Dacii Liberi - IASI's Mihnea Suşu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihail Gherdan in the 39th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remus Munteanu in the 41st minute of play forced FC Dacii Liberi - IASI's goalkeeper Mihnea Suşu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The wind increased when Gaizko Abaurre made the kick off in the second half. If Ionel Lung had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mihnea Suşu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remus Munteanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes into the match, FC Dacii Liberi - IASI's goal looked a bit too open when Remus Munteanu came free, but Mihnea Suşu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcel Antonescu hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. When Mihail Gherdan fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Buzău's protests and gave Mihail Gherdan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 64th match minute, FC Buzău was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mihail Gherdan to maneuver through the defense. Ciprian Ghioane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petru Drâmba, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Ciprian Ghioane made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dorel Tomoioagă in the 69th minute. FC Dacii Liberi - IASI's Mihnea Suşu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tudor Stancu in the 73rd minute of play. FC Buzău's Ciprian Ghioane proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save FC Buzău from getting a goal against them. Ciprian Ghioane took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benedicto Abello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 81 minutes into the match, FC Dacii Liberi - IASI's goal looked a bit too open when Tudor Stancu came free, but Mihnea Suşu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 89 minutes of play, FC Buzău's Pompiliu Balaban made it 7-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mihnea Suşu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mihail Gherdan was shown his second yellow card after 91 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Mihail Gherdan kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FC Buzău had won after a very even match.
