Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Mike Cai got the match started through his kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 柯洲远 in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cezar Răţescu saved UFC Veseud from getting behind. Virgil Olariu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dragoş Cordescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. 6 minutes into the match, UFC Veseud's Ilie Lupșoiu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Virgil Olariu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 7 minutes, Mike Cai mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paralia Athens and the UFC Veseud players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Paralia Athens getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Mike Cai hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Paralia Athens's Rolf Biörling got a free kick in the 9th minute. When Mike Cai came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Paralia Athens fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mike Cai couldn't finish the play. 21 minutes into the match, UFC Veseud's goal looked a bit too open when Mike Cai came free, but Cezar Răţescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Paralia Athens's Agostinho Moura got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Cezar Răţescu came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Paralia Athens's 柯洲远. But to his dismay, 柯洲远 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 37th minute 柯洲远 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cezar Răţescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paralia Athens were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after UFC Veseud's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Costel Neagoe took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Costel Neagoe got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Cezar Răţescu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Cezar Răţescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mike Cai, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Ilie Lupșoiu managed to get in a good position for a shot. UFC Veseud's supporters rose to their feet, but Ilie Lupșoiu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Virgil Olariu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dragoş Cordescu was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dragoş Cordescu in the 53rd minute of play forced Paralia Athens's goalkeeper Virgil Olariu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Virgil Olariu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dragoş Cordescu in the 55th minute of play. After 62 minutes UFC Veseud's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Costel Neagoe who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Paralia Athens's Costel Neagoe to fire away a dangerous shot which Cezar Răţescu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Mike Cai's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cezar Răţescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Viveque Malheiro hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mike Cai in the 76th minute of play forced UFC Veseud's goalkeeper Cezar Răţescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gürkan Akaydın got free with Cezar Răţescu in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mugur Ciocan scored 1-1 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Virgil Olariu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 94 played minutes Paralia Athens got a freekick which was hit by Gürkan Akaydın. Despite being the better team, UFC Veseud failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
