Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Felix Chițu hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. 8 minutes into the match, FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s goalkeeper Cristinel Tiberian had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vasile Socoriceanu. FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Cristinel Tiberian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Santana in the 10th minute of play. David Tâbârnă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basarab Pârcălab having to interfere. Basarab Pârcălab took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Chițu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Big Blond had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 20 minutes into the match, Carpathians's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Tomulescu came free, but Basarab Pârcălab reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Big Blond could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Cristinel Tiberian made a huge save. FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s David Tâbârnă got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octav Martinaș in the 25th minute of play forced Carpathians's goalkeeper Basarab Pârcălab to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of FC PIETROSUL -MM- booed when Carpathians was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Big Blond didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Tâbârnă in the 28th minute of play forced Carpathians's goalkeeper Basarab Pârcălab to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 35 played minutes Carpathians got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Santana. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Aurelian Sava managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Aurelian Sava was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Basarab Pârcălab breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Octav Martinaș had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Basarab Pârcălab came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s David Tâbârnă. But to his dismay, David Tâbârnă quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1.

The wind increased when David Tâbârnă made the kick off in the second half. Basarab Pârcălab showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Tâbârnă, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Basarab Pârcălab made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Tâbârnă in the 51st minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Aurelian Sava got a free kick in the 53rd minute. After 66 played minutes Carpathians got a freekick which was hit by Pavel Bara. Horea Hristea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Basarab Pârcălab made an important save on a dangerous shot by David Tâbârnă in the 69th minute. After 75 played minutes Carpathians got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Gotti. Carpathians made a substitution. Constantin Cârstea replaced Pavel Bara. Carpathians made a substitution. Vasile Socoriceanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristinel Tiberian having to interfere. In the 85th match minute, FC PIETROSUL -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vlad Brezoi to maneuver through the defense. Bruno Gotti took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 86th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cristinel Tiberian. FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Vasile Socoriceanu came free, but Cristinel Tiberian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
