Emil Inculeț didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Braulio Castel went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. 33 minutes into the match, Gheorghe Corbuț had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emil Inculeț. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gheorghe Corbuț was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. F.C.BARLAD's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pablo Paz in the 38th minute. The corner led F.C.BARLAD's Pablo Paz to fire away a dangerous shot which Emil Inculeț despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Gheorghe Corbuț had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emil Inculeț. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gheorghe Corbuț was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Gheorghe Corbuț managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C.BARLAD's supporters rose to their feet, but Gheorghe Corbuț was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emil Inculeț breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vasile Manolache made a kick off. Gheorghe Corbuț sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emil Inculeț showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gheorghe Corbuț in the 58th minute of the match. Emil Inculeț stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gheorghe Corbuț's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. In the 60th match minute, F.C.BARLAD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandu Brădescu to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silviu Cutieru in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wojtek Szczęsny prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gheorghe Corbuț struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Emil Inculeț didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C.BARLAD. The audience thought a goal was coming when Braulio Castel got free with Emil Inculeț in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Braulio Castel who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 73rdth minute tested the skills of Emil Inculeț when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Gheorghe Corbuț had several of the MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 76 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-6 score and a disappointed Emil Inculeț as he didn't even see the shot coming. The supporters of F.C.BARLAD booed when MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dacian Ilica didn't get a good kick on the ball. Florin Racoviceanu kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Emil Inculeț showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gheorghe Corbuț in the 88th minute of the match. The MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching F.C.BARLAD's performance. The match ended with a win for F.C.BARLAD.
