In the 6th minute Octav Martinaș shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Inculeț saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Emil Inculeț proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV from getting a goal against them. In the 11th minute FC PIETROSUL -MM- were awarded a corner. Horea Hristea went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 16th minute Silviu Cutieru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristinel Tiberian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maxim Buhoiu kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Aurelian Sava got in the 23rd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Emil Inculeț handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Emil Inculeț proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV from getting a goal against them. 27 minutes into the match, MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's goalkeeper Emil Inculeț had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by David Tâbârnă. 27 minutes into the match, David Tâbârnă had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emil Inculeț. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that David Tâbârnă was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s David Tâbârnă got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 33 minutes, Octav Martinaș managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Octav Martinaș was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. David Tâbârnă succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 38th playminute. Felix Chițu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emil Inculeț made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octav Martinaș in the 43rd minute of play. In the 44th minute, David Tâbârnă made a precise shot to the right of Emil Inculeț. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vasile Manolache to make the kick off. David Tâbârnă hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Silviu Cutieru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristinel Tiberian having to interfere. If David Tâbârnă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stelian Gligan struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Cristinel Tiberian didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV. The supporters of MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV booed when FC PIETROSUL -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisc Onete didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silviu Cutieru kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. In the 88th minute, MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Silviu Cutieru dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-1. Bogdan Ştercă hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Silviu Cutieru took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 92nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cristinel Tiberian. FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 96th minute Felix Chițu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Inculeț saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
