Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) 3 minutes into the match, Carpathians's goal looked a bit too open when Cosmin Dragu came free, but Basarab Pârcălab reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carpathians's Basarab Pârcălab proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Carpathians from getting a goal against them. Iosif Panescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Gotti in the 12th minute of the match. When Carpathians's Muc Alba in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC BaLiSt's goalie prevented a goal. FC BaLiSt's Iosif Panescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Muc Alba in the 17th minute of play. Carpathians's Basarab Pârcălab proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Carpathians from getting a goal against them. Iosif Panescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Muc Alba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to FC BaLiSt getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Cosmin Dragu hit a great ball. Iosif Panescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Santana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the game, Carlos Santana cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Iosif Panescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Basarab Pârcălab made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emil Harhoiu in the 31st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Muc Alba in the 33rd minute of play forced FC BaLiSt's goalkeeper Iosif Panescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iosif Panescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Santana in the 34th minute of play. Gabriel Dragușin took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Basarab Pârcălab. Basarab Pârcălab dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. With a little luck, Carpathians's Basarab Pârcălab got control of the ball when Cosmin Dragu tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 48 played minutes Carpathians got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Gotti. FC BaLiSt made a substitution. Aron Constantiniu replaced Mihăiţă Corbeanu. FC BaLiSt made a substitution. Pompiliu Lechințan replaced Mircea Irod. Bruno Gotti kicked well hit freekick during the 49th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlos Santana was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, FC BaLiSt's Gabriel Dragușin got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Iosif Panescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Santana in the 55th minute. FC BaLiSt's Traian Muscaș was substituted for Florin Braica. FC BaLiSt's Emil Harhoiu got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 67th minute, Emil Harhoiu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carlos Santana could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Iosif Panescu made a huge save. Basarab Pârcălab came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by FC BaLiSt's Emil Harhoiu. But to his dismay, Emil Harhoiu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. The supporters of Carpathians booed when FC BaLiSt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Traian Muscaș didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iosif Panescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carmen Johannis, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 81st minute Gavril Cudalb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basarab Pârcălab saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Basarab Pârcălab took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cosmin Dragu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iosif Panescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Santana in the 85th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Niculae Târcă got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Basarab Pârcălab quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Carmen Johannis hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute of the match Niculae Târcă sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Basarab Pârcălab skillfully saved the ball. If Carlos Santana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Harhoiu in the 98th minute of play forced Carpathians's goalkeeper Basarab Pârcălab to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
