The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Titus Herdel helped the player get up and apologised. Titus Herdel hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. After 37 played minutes, Emerald's Nechifor Ilie shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Horaţiu Proca came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Emerald reached it. In the 38th minute, Ionel Cârneci made a precise shot to the right of Damian Vieru. Emerald's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. 45 minutes into the match, Ionel Cârneci dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Damian Vieru, 4-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Călin Murgu made a kick off. Emerald's Damian Vieru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Călin Murgu in the 52nd minute of play. Claudiu Râznicu hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Flavius Stoicea's late challenge caught a ☆☆AC☆☆TG-OCNA☆☆'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. Ionel Cârneci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute.
