An unexpectedly hard shot by Best Tek in the 5th minute of play forced Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goalkeeper Nae Costin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 5 minutes in the game, Best Tek dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Nae Costin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Best Tek, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goalkeeper Nae Costin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cornel Surdilă. Cornel Surdilă's late challenge caught a Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cornel Surdilă helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Ninjas in Pyjamas's Cornel Surdilă got a free kick in the 18th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s zone, Best Tek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nae Costin came out of the goal and Best Tek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 32 played minutes Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Eduard Mihăilescu. Nae Costin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Best Tek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th match minute, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucian Rădescu to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Vlad Nicolae hit a great ball. Șerban Guguianu kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cosmin Badea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Best Tek cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Nae Costin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goalkeeper Nae Costin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Nae Costin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Szczepan Barycz in the 58th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by David Iurașcu during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ninjas in Pyjamas the free kick. Vlad Nicolae kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. In the 98th minute, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Șerban Guguianu seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Șerban Guguianu the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Șerban Guguianu had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 99th match minute, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Șerban Guguianu to maneuver through the defense. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Nae Costin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sabin Bojonca in the 100th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ninjas in Pyjamas had played much better football throughout.
