The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 8 minutes into the match, ☆☆AC☆☆TG-OCNA☆☆'s Ionel Cârneci sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nae Costin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. ☆☆AC☆☆TG-OCNA☆☆'s Horaţiu Proca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narcis Aursulesei in the 10th minute of play. The throw-in from Eduard Mihăilescu in the 15th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by ☆☆AC☆☆TG-OCNA☆☆'s Nicu Zafiu. When Eduard Mihăilescu fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s protests and gave Eduard Mihăilescu a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Eduard Mihăilescu got a free kick in the 15th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Călin Murgu in the 19th minute of play forced Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goalkeeper Nae Costin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Horaţiu Proca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Șerban Guguianu in the 21st minute of play. David Iurașcu charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed David Iurașcu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. David Iurașcu hit a great ball. In the 27th minute, Isac Doloman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Horaţiu Proca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cosmin Badea, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. ☆☆AC☆☆TG-OCNA☆☆'s Ionel Cârneci got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. David Iurașcu got his second yellow card in the match during the 34th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. David Iurașcu kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Ionel Cârneci could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Nae Costin made a huge save. In the 37th minute, Nicu Zafiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maxim Strugure took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Horaţiu Proca. ☆☆AC☆☆TG-OCNA☆☆'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a little luck, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Nae Costin got control of the ball when Ionel Cârneci tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to ☆☆AC☆☆TG-OCNA☆☆ getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Nicu Zafiu hit a great ball. Maxim Strugure took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 40th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Horaţiu Proca. ☆☆AC☆☆TG-OCNA☆☆'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ionel Cârneci came free with the goalkeeper in the 46th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Nae Costin could save by the left post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Călin Murgu to make the kick off. Nae Costin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ionel Cârneci in the 51st minute of play. The ☆☆AC☆☆TG-OCNA☆☆ fans' excitement grew in the 92nd match minute when ☆☆AC☆☆TG-OCNA☆☆'s Ionel Cârneci looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. ☆☆AC☆☆TG-OCNA☆☆ walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
