Luca Udurbac could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Helmuth Duckadam made a huge save. A collision led to F.C. YKE getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Constantin Buzea hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marin Zbuchea in the 7th minute of play forced FC Maci -MM-'s goalkeeper Adolfo Abar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the match, FC Maci -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Nicolae Boboc came free, but Adolfo Abar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 18 minutes, Ovidiu Encuțu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Maci -MM-'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Ovidiu Encuțu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Ovidiu Encuțu could shoot a difficult shot in the 18th minute, which Helmuth Duckadam however easily saved by the left post. F.C. YKE's Helmuth Duckadam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Udurbac in the 22nd minute of play. Adolfo Abar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marin Zbuchea in the 26th minute of the match. The referee showed Gigel Seremet the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 54 played minutes FC Maci -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Gigel Seremet. After 60 played minutes FC Maci -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Ovidiu Encuțu. Marin Zbuchea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Adolfo Abar made a huge save. After a rather tough play, F.C. YKE's Constantin Buzea got a free kick in the 84th minute. After 85 played minutes, FC Maci -MM-'s Hortêncio Curvelo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Helmuth Duckadam came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Maci -MM- reached it. In the 86th minute FC Maci -MM- were awarded a corner. Hortêncio Curvelo went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Themistoklis Von Grimmelhausen heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After a rather tough play, FC Maci -MM-'s Marius Doroftei got a free kick in the 90th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emanuel Şimoc in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adolfo Abar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. During the 94th minute of the match Gigel Seremet completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Gigel Seremet a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 95th match minute, FC Maci -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gigel Seremet to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, F.C. YKE's Constantin Buzea got a free kick in the 97th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Udurbac in the 98th minute of play forced F.C. Hortêncio Curvelo went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Hortêncio Curvelo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but F.C. YKE's Helmuth Duckadam did a great save. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the F.C. YKE players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
