Cédric Payen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Martin Găvănescu made a huge save. In the 6th match minute, Emerald was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basarab Tâlvescu to maneuver through the defense. 11 minutes into the match, Emerald's goalkeeper Martin Găvănescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cédric Payen. Cédric Payen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Găvănescu having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dudu Georgescu in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Martin Găvănescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 17 minutes into the game, Cédric Payen recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Martin Găvănescu. Cédric Payen showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. With a little luck, Emerald's Martin Găvănescu got control of the ball when Cédric Payen tried to sneak it across the goal line. A hard shot 29 in the game by Codruț Podgoreanu from a close distance when the talented Martin Găvănescu managed to make a qualified save. Emerald's players were relieved. Mons Vallestad kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Minerul Baita -MM-'s Alan Varela got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Emerald made a substitution. Nechifor Ilie replaced Sorin Jitaru. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cédric Payen to strike the kick off in the second half. Martin Găvănescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dudu Georgescu in the 52nd minute of the match. Sandu Claudiescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Dudu Georgescu put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Martin Găvănescu. In the 60th minute, Isac Manciulescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mons Vallestad struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Martin Găvănescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Minerul Baita -MM-. Emerald's Martin Găvănescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cédric Payen in the 64th minute of play. 67 minutes into the game, Cédric Payen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Martin Găvănescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Basarab Tâlvescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Sergiu Cobâlcescu made a huge save. After some careless play in the Emerald defense, Cédric Payen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Martin Găvănescu. The Emerald fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Martin Găvănescu should have stopped the shot. Minerul Baita -MM- made a substitution. Mo Yin Wen replaced Vintilă Puișoru. Dudu Georgescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86thth minute of the game Dudu Georgescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Emerald's Martin Găvănescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Minerul Baita -MM-'s Frank Miner was substituted for Dudu Georgescu. Martin Găvănescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cédric Payen in the 92nd minute of play. In the 94th match minute, Minerul Baita -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Varela to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Isac Manciulescu during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. There was no doubt that Minerul Baita -MM- were the better team. Minerul Baita -MM-'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
