Minerul Baita -MM-'s Alan Varela suffered a sore thigh after 24 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Ionică Costăchescu charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ionică Costăchescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. DINAMO PLOIESTI's Valentin Cibran shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 96th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Sergiu Cobâlcescu but with some difficulty. DINAMO PLOIESTI succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Minerul Baita -MM- had controlled the match.
