The audience thought a goal was coming when Ernie Ball got free with Stormur Muren in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Angel Comizzo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnulfo Marino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 8 minutes into the match, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Zbora came free, but Angel Comizzo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marin Tufescu in the 9th minute of play forced Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's goalkeeper Angel Comizzo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 30 minutes, Stormur Muren successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Buffalo Timişoara's goalkeeper Stormur Muren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After taking down the ball on Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's corner Quique Doro fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Stormur Muren quite easily take care of the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Buffalo Timişoara's goalkeeper Stormur Muren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ernie Ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adrian Zbora was the one to do the kick off. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Angel Comizzo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Zbora in the 52nd minute of play. Stormur Muren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernie Ball in the 54th minute of play. Angel Comizzo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrian Zbora, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stormur Muren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernie Ball, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Angel Comizzo acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 62nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Marin Tufescu.
