Dênis Hermes hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Petersson in the 5th minute of play forced Buffalo Timişoara's goalkeeper Marian Basarab to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Big Saver took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boris Becker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Călin Borogeanu hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Marian Basarab showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Petersson in the 13th minute of the match. After 14 played minutes Buffalo Timişoara got a freekick which was hit by Cornel Timofte. Aaron Cooke hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Marin Tufescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Big Saver made a huge save. Jonathan Petersson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonathan Petersson took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marian Basarab. Marian Basarab dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Marian Basarab took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emiliano Ekialde, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emiliano Ekialde in the 34th minute of play forced Buffalo Timişoara's goalkeeper Marian Basarab to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Buffalo Timişoara's goalkeeper Marian Basarab, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 36 minutes into the match, Sanderson Cabeleira notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Buffalo Timişoara's Marian Basarab. Marian Basarab was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Big Saver made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Adrian Zbora sent off a good shot on target. In the 41st minute of the match, Marin Tufescu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Big Saver was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Francisco Guerrero was the one to do the kick off. In the 72nd minute Sebastian Gentiletti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marian Basarab saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, Buffalo Timişoara's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Guerrero came free, but Marian Basarab reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Buffalo Timişoara's goalkeeper Marian Basarab, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Buffalo Timişoara's defense didn't have a chance, in the 78th minute, when Jonathan Petersson scored to the left of an out of position Marian Basarab, making the score, 0-3. Sebastian Gentiletti's late challenge caught a Buffalo Timişoara's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sebastian Gentiletti helped the player get up and apologised.
