A collision led to GoalHunters getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Lucrețiu Bornescu hit a great ball. Simion Pop made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ernie Ball in the 13th minute. After 22 minutes GoalHunters's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Renan Trancoso who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Renan Trancoso to fire away a dangerous shot which Simion Pop despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ernie Ball charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ernie Ball the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of GoalHunters booed when Batalionul U23 Dorobanti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernie Ball didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angel Comizzo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fred Penha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes into the match, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's goal looked a bit too open when Nicu Aluculesei came free, but Angel Comizzo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. GoalHunters's Simion Pop proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save GoalHunters from getting a goal against them. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Angel Comizzo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicu Aluculesei in the 81st minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Ernie Ball notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of GoalHunters's Simion Pop. Simion Pop was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Augustin Tilincă kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
