Simion Pop took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jiang Zhi Ling, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emy Marioara in the 17th minute of play forced GoalHunters's goalkeeper Simion Pop to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 20 played minutes BlueLionesse got a freekick which was hit by Kılıçhan Ekici. Amedeo Melis charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amedeo Melis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to BlueLionesse getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Amedeo Melis hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fred Penha in the 22nd minute of play forced BlueLionesse's goalkeeper Jonas Hermansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. GoalHunters's Simion Pop proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save GoalHunters from getting a goal against them. 32 minutes into the match, GoalHunters's goal looked a bit too open when Augustin Ştefănuţ came free, but Simion Pop reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amedeo Melis succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 36th playminute. After some careless play in the GoalHunters defense, Pompiliu Minea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Simion Pop. The GoalHunters fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Simion Pop should have stopped the shot. 44 minutes into the match, GoalHunters's goalkeeper Simion Pop had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amedeo Melis. Fred Penha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The BlueLionesse fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when BlueLionesse's Augustin Ştefănuţ looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. In the 59th minute, Severiano Blasi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Simion Pop showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jiang Zhi Ling in the 60th minute of the match. In the 61st minute Augustin Ştefănuţ shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simion Pop saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Augustin Tilincă got free with Jonas Hermansson in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 67 minutes into the match, GoalHunters's goal looked a bit too open when Jiang Zhi Ling came free, but Simion Pop reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The BlueLionesse fans cheered their team off the field, for while GoalHunters had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
