With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kryspin Jaroszewicz in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lucjan Furgat saved Gliwicka Torcida from getting behind. The Gliwicka Torcida players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cosmos 1984 NewDance were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ludomir Walaszkiewicz made a kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Gliwicka Torcida's Teofil Tamulewicz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andrzej Köpke made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Teofil Tamulewicz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Andrzej Köpke having to make a save. In the 87th minute Ludomir Walaszkiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrzej Köpke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ludomir Walaszkiewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cosmos 1984 NewDance were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Gliwicka Torcida's much stronger midfield.
