Astral Roots Gdynia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zenon Waldoch was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 45 minutes into the match, Astral Roots Gdynia's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Jaraczewski came free, but Sébastien Marionneau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Czeslaw Domala made the kick off in the second half. Tomasz Wisniewski struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Sébastien Marionneau didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ. Czeslaw Domala succeeded in the game's 58th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. Sébastien Marionneau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Jaraczewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Jan Jaraczewski spun around in front of the goal 68 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Astral Roots Gdynia's goal. After a defensive mix-up in KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ's zone, Zenon Waldoch stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mieszko Majusiak came out of the goal and Zenon Waldoch tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Astral Roots Gdynia's Franciszek Poling got a free kick in the 94th minute. Czeslaw Domala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Sébastien Marionneau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Astral Roots Gdynia throughout the match.
