Zbyszek Lagiewniki stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zachary Bentkowski's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. Aureliusz Witwicki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 8th minute, Hieronim Brataniec hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Mateusz Solecki fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AKS Chorzów's protests and gave Mateusz Solecki a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th minute of the match KKS Lech Żory SSA got a corner. AKS Chorzów's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lucjan Sakowicz ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Radomir Kochanowski almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but AKS Chorzów's Dariusz Ziombkowski did a great save. In the 20th match minute, AKS Chorzów was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hieronim Brataniec to maneuver through the defense. 1-0 became the score in the 22nd minute when Ziemowit Bartelak elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marek Pruss got free with Dariusz Ziombkowski in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 26 minutes into the match, AKS Chorzów's goal looked a bit too open when Marek Pruss came free, but Dariusz Ziombkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maksymilian Piekarczyk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A throw-in in the 34th minute of the game was made by Radomir Kochanowski with Marek Pruss as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Dawid Malewicki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Dariusz Ziombkowski made a huge save. 37 minutes into the match, AKS Chorzów's goal looked a bit too open when Marek Pruss came free, but Dariusz Ziombkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as KKS Lech Żory SSA's Marek Pruss slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dariusz Ziombkowski. That made the score 2-0 after 39 minutes of play. When Izydor Byczewski fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AKS Chorzów's protests and gave Izydor Byczewski a yellow card for diving instead. After 45 played minutes AKS Chorzów got a freekick which was hit by Izydor Byczewski. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maksymilian Piekarczyk was the one to do the kick off. Zbyszek Lagiewniki made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Maksymilian Piekarczyk sent off a good shot on target. 53 minutes into the game, Aureliusz Witwicki was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KKS Lech Żory SSA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AKS Chorzów the free kick. Aureliusz Witwicki hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. AKS Chorzów's Stanislaw Miazga got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mateusz Solecki hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, AKS Chorzów's Zachary Bentkowski got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 61st minute of the match Lucjan Sakowicz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dariusz Ziombkowski skillfully saved the ball. Marek Pruss scored 3-0 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dariusz Ziombkowski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Radomir Kochanowski struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Dariusz Ziombkowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KKS Lech Żory SSA. AKS Chorzów's Dariusz Ziombkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dawid Malewicki in the 75th minute of play. After some careless play in the AKS Chorzów defense, Marek Pruss kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dariusz Ziombkowski. The AKS Chorzów fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dariusz Ziombkowski should have stopped the shot. Hieronim Brataniec kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Dariusz Ziombkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marek Pruss, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute, Ziemowit Bartelak left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KKS Lech Żory SSA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. AKS Chorzów's Dariusz Ziombkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dawid Malewicki in the 92nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beniamin Kilar in the 94th minute of play forced AKS Chorzów's goalkeeper Dariusz Ziombkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 95 minutes, Zachary Bentkowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AKS Chorzów and the KKS Lech Żory SSA players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 95th minute, Zachary Bentkowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 96th minute, Lucjan Sakowicz sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and AKS Chorzów's Dariusz Ziombkowski didn't even have to move. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. KKS Lech Żory SSA fully deserved thier win.
