The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Soczewki Gliwice's Witomir Kossakowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Soczewki Gliwice from getting a goal against them. After 8 minutes, Marek Walec mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Soczewki Gliwice and the Wijewo SSA players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Soczewki Gliwice's Marek Walec got a free kick in the 8th minute. Cezary Pacholewski charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cezary Pacholewski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Wijewo SSA booed when Soczewki Gliwice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cezary Pacholewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Witomir Kossakowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wincent Ludwa in the 14th minute. Witomir Kossakowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ludomir Dec, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 40th minute, Soczewki Gliwice's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Wincent Ludwa fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Witomir Kossakowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ludomir Dec, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marek Walec blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mateusz Fikus having to make a save. If Marek Walec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

After 52 played minutes Soczewki Gliwice got a freekick which was hit by Bogumil Dobrowski. Cezary Pacholewski got his second yellow card in the match during the 53rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Cezary Pacholewski hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. If Ludomir Dec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wincent Ludwa in the 61st minute of play forced Soczewki Gliwice's goalkeeper Witomir Kossakowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zbyszek Marchewka took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mateusz Fikus. Mateusz Fikus dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 72 minutes into the match, Soczewki Gliwice's goal looked a bit too open when Wincent Ludwa came free, but Witomir Kossakowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Soczewki Gliwice's zone, Mateusz Jajko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Witomir Kossakowski came out of the goal and Mateusz Jajko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zbyszek Marchewka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateusz Fikus having to interfere. With 80 minutes on the clock, Wlodzimierz Kasperowicz commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Wincent Ludwa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 86 minutes into the game, Wijewo SSA's Ludomir Dec nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Witomir Kossakowski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Mateusz Jajko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Witomir Kossakowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
