An unexpectedly hard shot by Marek Walec in the 8th minute of play forced Pogoń Szczecin's goalkeeper Kryspin Banan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Soczewki Gliwice getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Emil Karbowski hit a great ball. 21 minutes into the match, Soczewki Gliwice's goal looked a bit too open when Leon Wnukowski came free, but Witomir Kossakowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Soczewki Gliwice getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Zbyszko Bara hit a great ball. 29 minutes into the match, Pogoń Szczecin's goal looked a bit too open when Cezary Pacholewski came free, but Kryspin Banan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pogoń Szczecin's defense didn't have a chance, in the 30th minute, when Cezary Pacholewski scored to the left of an out of position Kryspin Banan, making the score, 1-0. In the 37th minute Marek Walec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kryspin Banan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Witomir Kossakowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olgierd Moryl in the 41st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Soczewki Gliwice's zone, Beniamin Bojanowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Witomir Kossakowski came out of the goal and Beniamin Bojanowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 54th minute Lukasz Panikowski suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 54 minutes, Zbyszko Bara mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Soczewki Gliwice and the Pogoń Szczecin players grew even worse after the yellow card. Pogoń Szczecin made a substitution. Juliusz Chmielecki replaced Lukasz Panikowski. Leon Wnukowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Witomir Kossakowski having to interfere. Kryspin Banan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marek Walec in the 62nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Soczewki Gliwice's Cezary Pacholewski got a free kick in the 65th minute. Marek Walec recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Soczewki Gliwice getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Zbyszko Bara hit a great ball. Witomir Kossakowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beniamin Bojanowski in the 78th minute of play. After 86 played minutes Pogoń Szczecin got a freekick which was hit by Herbert Cwenar. Pogoń Szczecin's Kryspin Banan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marek Walec in the 87th minute of play.
