After 7 minutes, Roch Pietrowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KS HANZA Goleniów and the MKS Legion Częstochowa players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of MKS Legion Częstochowa booed when KS HANZA Goleniów was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roch Pietrowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teobald Gaszynski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 15 minutes into the match, Toni Polster had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bogdan Nigbor. KS HANZA Goleniów's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Toni Polster was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Teobald Gaszynski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bogdan Nigbor having to interfere. When MKS Legion Częstochowa's Toni Polster in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KS HANZA Goleniów's goalie prevented a goal. After 23 minutes, Florian Serwach mouthed his way into the referee's book. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Teobald Gaszynski made the kick off in the second half. Konrad Olender sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Mariusz Kaczucha fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KS HANZA Goleniów's protests and gave Mariusz Kaczucha a yellow card for diving instead. In the 54th minute, one of KS HANZA Goleniów:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for KS HANZA Goleniów. In the 56th minute there was a penalty for MKS Legion Częstochowa. Emil Kalinowski stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Bogdan Nigbor. 0-5. Bogdan Nigbor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teobald Gaszynski in the 59th minute of play. Edmund Wielkopolski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Konrad Olender in the 63rd minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Witold Rzentkowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Florian Serwach lost his temper 69 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The supporters of KS HANZA Goleniów booed when MKS Legion Częstochowa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. MKS Legion Częstochowa's Edmund Wielkopolski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Konrad Olender in the 70th minute of play. After 73 played minutes KS HANZA Goleniów got a freekick which was hit by Mariusz Kaczucha. A collision led to MKS Legion Częstochowa getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Emil Kalinowski hit a great ball. Bogdan Nigbor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toni Polster, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tytus Ogrodowicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Bogdan Nigbor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. MKS Legion Częstochowa's Edmund Wielkopolski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roch Pietrowski in the 92nd minute of play. KS HANZA Goleniów's Mariusz Kaczucha got his second yellow card of the match in the 96th minute. The referee ordered Mariusz Kaczucha off the ground. MKS Legion Częstochowa's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
